THE MATERIALS
All DISARTES jewelery is made with precious metals such as SILVER and GOLD in their alloys. Each artefact is certified with the TITLE (which determines the quantity of precious metal present in the alloy) and BRAND (which certifies the reliability of the manufacturer) stamps which are impressed directly on the metal and visible with a 10x loupe.
PRECIOUS STONES
Carefully researched and selected, the precious and semi-precious stones mounted on DISARTES jewels are completely of NATURAL origin.
Here are some of the stones used: AMETHYST, PERIDOT, CITRINE QUARTZ, GARNET, TOURMALINE, TOPAZ, APATITE, EMERALD, TANZANITE, CORUNDUM, SAPPHIRE, DIAMOND.
The ALLOYS used
925‰ silver: also known as “Sterling” silver, it is the most common alloy used in jewellery. Containing 925 parts of silver and 75 parts of copper, the latter gives strength but also brings oxidizability, a characteristic due to which over the years the object will tend to take on a darker color. This situation is absolutely REVERSIBLE through simple polishing operations which will return the color of the object as beautiful and shiny as it was originally.
PURE Silver: it is not an alloy but a 999‰ pure metal, the jewels made in this way will have a whiter, brighter and absolutely unalterable color as silver is a STAINLESS metal. Due to the ductility of the material, these jewels will also be more delicate and subject to wear, which is why pieces such as rings or bracelets that could be subjected to great strain while worn are not made of pure silver.
750‰ Gold : Used as a standard in Italian fine jewelry, this alloy contains 750 parts of GOLD and 250 parts of silver and copper.
